As an Eagle Scout, meaningful work is important to Kevin.  His work allows him to benefit the environment while engaging his creative, critical thinking skills retrofitting homes.  As an outdoor enthusiast, Kevin also loves the 10 hour/4 day work week which sometimes involves travel to communities around the Colorado high country.  Being paid to get trained as a Building Performance (BPI) Inspector with credentials such as Gas Furnace & Electrical Fundamentals in HVAC, Asbestos and lead Awareness, Supervision Core Competencies and Renovate Repair Certificate has been “a little like climbing a mountain” says Kevin, but it has helped him to “eventually feel really at home” in some special work environments, like crawlspaces.
