One recipient who uses the Transportation Voucher Program for mileage reimbursement has a health condition which limits the type of food she eats. Due to her rural location, she has to travel more than an hour each way to purchase food at a grocery store with a larger selection to meet her needs and for health-related services. She said “thank you for this program that so helps with the transportation costs.”
