Readiness and Response Coordinator

Addy is a 20-year veteran of the fire based Emergency Medical Services (EMS) system. She began her service as an indestructible volunteer before becoming a wiser provider of emergency services when the Rifle Fire Protection District was centralized with the Glenwood Springs Fire Department and Colorado River Fire Rescue. Though “retired” from EMS work, she continues her service in the background though her role Coordinating the Northwest RETAC which has expanded into Preparedness planning as the Response & Readiness Coordinator to the NWR-HCC. She participates as adjunct faculty for Colorado Mountain College’s EMT program as well as the Garfield County Training Consortium. She is also a board member for Colorado River Fire and Rescue and EMSAC while taking on many “other duties as assigned.”
