WHAT IS A CEDS?

A CEDS – Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy – is a strategy-driven plan for regional economic development. A CEDS is the result of a regionally owned planning process designed to build capacity and guide the economic prosperity and resiliency of an area or region.

CEDS 5-Year Update:

October 1, 2026 – September 30, 2031

Current CEDS:

October 1, 2021 – September 30, 2026

NWCCOG Economic Development District Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy 2026–2031

NWCCOG Economic Development District submits this draft 2026-2031 CEDS for Comment August 1.  Comments are Due by August 17th at which point staff will begin working on the Final CEDS document to submit to EDA September 1 per guidelines.  Please send comments via our online form or via email to jstavney@nwccog.org with the “Title CEDS Comments.” Click below to download the document to review.
