Purpose

The Finance Office manages the organization’s accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, budgeting, grant administration, financial reporting, cash and asset management, compliance, and internal controls. We take pride in supporting the organization through responsible financial management, transparency, and a strong commitment to public trust.

Budgets

The budget process starts in August and continues through early December. The annual budget is prepared by the Finance Director and presented to the NWCCOG Council by the Executive Director for approval. The budget builds a financial picture of how each of NWCCOG’s diverse programs play a vital role in the whole of our uniquely structured organization.

Member Dues

Member Dues are calculated based on Population and Assessed Value, and are approved annually in July. They are a crucial part of the organization’s funding and help provide many essential services to the region. You can read more about NWCCOG’s Dues Assessment Policy in the annual budget.
