The Northwest Colorado Council of Governments (NWCCOG) partnered with the Colorado Association of Ski Towns (CAST) to produce this dataset. The research and work products on this page are produced by the foremost experts in Destination Management consulting.  The top line takeaway is the shifting focus across mountain towns from purely self-defined resorts to communities and what that means. We present this work in an effort to provide our member communities, as well communities outside of the NWCCOG/CAST region which face similar challenges, with tools, strategies, best practices, and innovative ideas.
